Effective date: January 1, 2026. These terms apply to all services provided by CVM Clovis Masonry and to your use of our website at clovismasonry.com.
By visiting our website, submitting a contact or estimate request, or hiring CVM Clovis Masonry to perform any work, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
CVM Clovis Masonry is a masonry contractor serving Clovis, CA and surrounding communities. Our services include, but are not limited to, foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, driveway pavers, walkway construction, and related masonry work.
All services are subject to a written project agreement or signed work order before work begins. Verbal agreements are not binding. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
We provide free on-site estimates. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. An estimate is not a guarantee of final price. Changes to the scope of work requested by the customer, or conditions discovered after work begins that could not reasonably have been identified during the estimate, may result in a revised price.
Any change in scope will be discussed with you before additional work is performed. We will not add charges without your prior approval except in cases of genuine emergency where work is necessary to prevent immediate damage or safety hazard.
Once a project date is scheduled and confirmed in writing, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee, particularly if materials have already been ordered or crew has been allocated specifically to your job.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, material delays, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at the earliest available time.
Payment terms will be specified in the written project agreement. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins on larger projects, with the remaining balance due upon completion. For smaller jobs, full payment may be due upon completion.
Accepted payment methods will be specified at the time of your estimate. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late payment fee as described in your project agreement.
If any invoice is referred to a collection agency or legal proceeding due to non-payment, you agree to be responsible for reasonable collection costs and attorney's fees.
You agree to:
We are not responsible for damage or delays caused by inaccurate information, restricted access, or pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed before work began.
Where a building permit is required for the work we perform, we will obtain that permit on your behalf unless otherwise agreed in writing. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be itemized in your estimate. We will coordinate any required inspections. You agree to allow reasonable access to your property for any inspection required by the city or other authority having jurisdiction.
We stand behind our work. Any warranty on workmanship will be described in your written project agreement. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to seismic activity, flooding, extreme weather, or soil movement unrelated to the scope of the original repair. Warranties do not cover cosmetic changes unrelated to structural performance.
Materials and products supplied by third-party manufacturers are subject to those manufacturers' warranty terms. We will assist you in pursuing warranty claims against manufacturers where applicable.
Except as expressly stated in a written project agreement, all services are provided "as is." We make no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No employee, agent, or representative has the authority to make oral warranties beyond those stated in writing.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CVM Clovis Masonry's total liability for any claim arising from our services or website is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or property damage not directly caused by our negligence, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our website is provided for informational purposes. The content on our site is not a substitute for a professional on-site assessment. Do not rely solely on website content to diagnose or evaluate a masonry, foundation, or structural problem.
